  The slatted sides, which are located on both ends of the facility, create a sense of motion when approaching the building from any angle.  Overlooking the 400m track.  The trackside of the building has been designed to be a 'viewing box' featuring a wall of windows to allow spectators to view events and emphasizing the focus of the facility.
