On Saturday, May 28th a group of volunteers from the Peterborough and Lakefield Speed Skating Clubs worked at the Oval site to improve the track, clean the site and build a new rack for the club skates. Thanks to all those who helped!!!

Thanks to a donation by the Ontario Trillium Foundation some major improvements were made to the Oval site. A wider track, a larger parking lot and access road and improved site drainage will all help make the Oval a better place to skate this year.

240 Runners hit the Lakefield Trails in support on the OSSO for our annual Run the River.
